So I have been doing a little bit of internet shopping lately. Not something I usually do. But there were a few Christmas presents I wanted to pick up that I couldn't find at any local stores. And I was wanting a few essential oils that I couldn't find at the health food store. Well, today I received two of my orders. One was a few things I picked out for my son, and the other was for me. But let me just brag up the site a bit before I go on...
I came across a website called Mountain Rose Herbs. (I keep wanting to say Rose Mountain.) This site has all kinds of things! I fell in love with it instantly. It has herbs and oils of all kinds, along with incense, bath and beauty products galore, and spices and other kitchen things. And the prices were great, too! The best part for me was finding someone I know in person who has ordered from them and knew more about them than I did. She assured me that they were very reputable. And that's important to me because I never know who to trust online. (You hear of "stores" ripping people off in some way or another all the time.)
Well, today I got my order. I got so giddy it was ridiculous! (Must be the hormones.) I got a bottle of Bay Leaf oil, a bottle of Coriander oil, a pack of Juniper incense, a pack of Douglas Fir incense, and two sampler packs that had Jasmine, Maharaja, Nag Champa, Forest Champa, and Royal Champa incense. I thought the Juniper and Douglas Fir would be great for the winter season, and I really love the smell of Jasmine and Nag Champa. (Those are my current scent obsessions.) I lit a Juniper incense right away, and it was great! It wasn't overpowering, yet it made the whole room smell good, and it wasn't very smoky, either, which is always good. I haven't had time to light any other scents yet, as I had to go to town earlier, and I want to enjoy one scent before I light another. But it's so hard! I want to smell them all. I think I'm going to light a stick of Nag Champa after I post this. The smell from the Juniper has dissipated by now. The whole shipping box smelled so good as soon as I opened it! I set it on my bed and I could smell it every time I walked into my bedroom.
So I suppose that's enough raving about my new favorite site and just how great their products are. But I just had to share the good news. When I find a good deal, I think it's a waste to keep it to myself, so I definitely had to share this treasure with others. In fact, I am going to add the website to the list of links here. I will definitely be ordering from there again in the near future.
