[glow=black,2,600]This thread is dedicated to all things wrestling! Be it amatuer, professional, mainstream, indy, it doesn't matter. From Grecco-Roman to the stuff you see on tv, it all has a home here. I watch WWE, TNA, I watched ECW and WCW when they were around, and I try to catch OVW and ROH online when I can. I am not a "WWE fan", I am a wrestling fan. I watched the Olympic wrestlers long before I got into the boys on tv. So, fellow wrestling geeks, here is your haven! Enjoy! [/glow]

Outstanding. I like you call myself a wrestling fan as opposed to just a WWE fan. I grew up watching the old British Wrestling with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks and have loved it ever since. My fave wrestler of all time is Jushin 'Thunder' Liger.

[glow=black,2,600]OK, so I watched Raw last night, of course. Now I've been a bit disappointed with the WWE for some time now, but things have slowly started to look up over the course of the last few months. And last night was no exception. First, let me just mention how ecstatic I am about how Rob Van Dam's WWE character has been progressing. They never gave him the proper respect, or attitude that he deserves. But last night, long-time fans got a glimpse at what they have been missing since he moved from ECW to WWE. He is getting back to his cocky old self! Right up in Cena's face, and then a slap. It was great! The only thing that disappointed me was that he confirmed he would be taking his title shot at ONS 2, and it's looking as if it will be against John Cena. I was really hoping that he would take his shot at the WWE vs. ECW event being held the week prior to ONS and that Cena wouldn't be champ by then. Is the WWE purposely trying to get Cena assassinated? Because he will be if he shows his face at an ECW event. As for ECW, a lot of people couldn't care less that it is coming back, including hardcore ECW fans. They say that it isn't going to be as good as the original. To that I say this: Nothing is ever as good as the original. As the old saying goes, you can never go home again. But I have faith in Dreamer and Heyman, and I believe that they will produce the best product they can. With them at the helm, the new ECW will be good, even if it isn't quite the same. Also, Mickie James was looking hot as usual last night! I just love that woman! She was definitely the breath of fresh air that the women's division so desparately needed. And now we are starting to see Beth Pheonix, a rival of Mickie's from back in OVW. This woman is a wrestler, not just some more of Vince's eye candy. It's nice to see the WWE brining in women with actual wrestling experience. Eye candy is nice, but does not a women's champion make. So I think that's about all I have to say about it this time. I know there was so much more I was thinking last night, but this will do. Until the next time, I leave you with these pictures...
(I just love a man that can do the splits!)
(Isn't she lubberly?) [/glow]

[glow=black,2,600]I don't blame you there. Prices are a bit...extreme. But you know the addicts. Get them hooked and it doesn't matter how much you charge! BTW, as I was reading the last post, the ad banner had Kane's movie "See No Evil" on it! Must see that movie!! Is anyone else seeing that ad in this thread?[/glow]
