I'll see what I can remember off my head.
Hellboy 2: Begins filming April '07. Script is complete, all actors are on board, Doug Jones is now not only playing Abe Sapien, but he's also finally getting to do the voice as well after doing such a great job on the Hellboy Animated. Also look for a bigger role for Abe.
Hitman: Based on the console game of the same name. Vin Diesel has signed on in the lead role.
Spider-Man 3: Re-shoots are goin on at the moment. Also rumours of a full length trailer expected before the end of the Fall.
Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer: Shooting has been underway for about a week or so now. Not really much news on it other than the cast is back in full. With Doug Jones looking all set to play Surfer.
That's all I can think of, off the top of my head.

I had posted this in the section about hunks .... cuz they are ... but I am sure it will fit in here just as well:
Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman ready to hit the big screen in the film adaptation of “The Prestige”: Christian Bale is in talks to reunite with “Batman Begins” director Christopher Nolan in “The Prestige,” which would also star Hugh Jackman.

I had heard that Batman Begins 2 IS a go, and Heath Ledger is to do the Joker.

Seriously? You're being funny, right? Isn't Ledger too pretty for that role? (Nobody can top Nicholson!)

I have to disagree and say that Jack Nicholson, while a very good actor and one of my personal faves turned the Joker into...Jack Nicholson in face paint. Really really really bad imo. Not what the Joker should have been at all.
Heath as young Joker? I'm reserving judgement till I see the movie, although I am skeptical. I wanted Crispin Glover or Paul Bettany in the role.

I suppose when you look at the corners of his mouth I can kind of see it. Does anyone know what I mean by that?

What is it that you see in the corners of his mouth??? J/K of course I know what you mean. It is hard to say with any characters nowadays, some of the things they can do can transform just about anyone into a specific character - though some would be more suited than others. So long as Batman is still Mr. Bail I am happy ;-) Drrrroooool

yeah with makeup and effects I'm sure making Ledger into the joker wont be a problem. I like Jack, but yeah i agree with Phoenix about him not being what the joker should have been. I think Robin Williams said it best when asked if he would want that part and he said something along the lines of god yes theres so many ways you could go with a character like that. Joker is truly one of the over the top most dynamic colorful villains in history. Personally my favorite Joker was Mark Hamil.......well of course he never PLAYED the Joker, and he probably wouldn't make a very good one. But he did great voice work for Batman the Animated series.Truly one of my favorite shows of all time. The whole show was well done, from voice acting and animation right down to plot lines and music.it went beyond being just a cartoon. But that was my favorite Joker not only was the voice what you would expect from an insane clown, but the way he was animated and presented. it was perfect, he would be silly and full of puns but there was no mistaking this dude was a demonic Evil figure. Take the episode i like a lot called The Last Laugh, in one scene Joker is setting the Batman up for a trap. Batman is chasing Joker up a conveyor belt. Being the Joker he sits on a piece of scrap metal cross legged and just watches Batman with that silly big grin on his face, But the animation and the lighting effects they use on his face and eyes gives off the assurance hes not just clowning around. He knows what hes doing and you can see the evil in the eyes. TAS is one time where each character and villain was done pretty well IMO. and the Joker was my favorite.

I totally agree about TAS ... it was awesome. Like seeing the comics truly come to life in a believable manner and not too sugar coated!

Mark Hamill is a great voice actor. I could be wrong, but didn't he voice the Green Goblin in the 90's Spider-Man Animated series? This.Gif.Owns.
