Lavender is one oil that should be in every home... especially those with children.
Lavender has the properties to bring calm and serenity. It is ideal for those with slight bouts of insomnia and is one of few that can be applied directly to skin on it's own without a base oil. It works well in baths for ill or restless babies.
Magically speaking, lavender opens the third eye for insight into dreams and unseen energies.

i agree it's a great scent, it's one of my best selling scents for candles, and pepole say they are just drawn back to it over and over again. lavender is also a safe oil for those people who are hypo allergetic. i have sensitive skin and most bath things with scents and oils will irritate my skin but never lavender, my doctor says it's a vary soothing oil.

Indeed Natasha, I too have ultrasensative skin but I can use lavendar as well! Also, lavendar is a great scent for the bed sheets because it also increases blood flow and improves certain bedroom activities!

I love lavender. I have a spray that I use on our pillows - it totally helps in, um, all aspects involving sleep or other activities

Vanilla is also a very powerful aphrodisiac for men. Just something to keep in mind
