*Do not take any oils internally without consulting a qualified aromatherapy practitioner.
*Do not apply undiluted essential oils, absolutes, CO2s or other concentrated essences onto the skin. Even when diluted, some oils may still cause sensitization or allergic reactions in some people. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using an oil that you've never used before. To perform a skin patch test, take a samll amount of diluted oil and apply it to the inside of your elbow. Apply a bandaid and wait 24 hours to see if any reaction occurs.
*If you are pregnant, epileptic, asthmatic, or have liver damage, cancer, or any other medical problem, use oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified aromatherapy practitioner.
*Always use the smallest amount of oil possible to get the desired effect.
*Never let a child use essential oils without a knowledgeable adult present. Treat your oils like medication or poison, and keep them away from little hands. Use extreme caution when using oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses. It is safest to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children.
*And finally, please remember that essential oils are flammable, and should be kept away from fire.
