I've heard of it but I've never gotten around to checking it out. I don't do much renting, so to buy it could be a risk as I may not like it. Hopefully it'll come on the movie channels at some point.
Last three movies I watched: X-Men , X2 and X3. ;D

If you see it on def check it out. My husband and I like you are huge Excalibur fans and this is the only one that we have ever REALLY liked in addition to that one. But be sure you have some time to kill, I think it is like 3 hours.... worth every minute.

Dudes I was sooo hyped up for KK to come out, and bought it the day it was available, and still I have yet to watch it all. I watched until they got to the island the first time then went to bed and last night tried again, got further, and totally dig the special effects, but it seems to me they drag things out too long and my ancy ass can't take it ... like the bug scene for instance. It was way cool - the big bugs and the fight scene for the first 60 seconds, after that it was like come on come on. So I didn't make it all the way last night either. Of course my son was sick and I did go lay with him, but still, I wasn't all bummed cuz I couldn't keep watching.

Just goes to teach you not to listen to hype!
I heard a lot of good things about that one, but haven't seen it for myself to judge...
I believe "There's Something About Mary" was the last movie I watched. I just don't get much time for movies anymore...

Finally got to see X3 The Final Stand. A friend of mine really hated it so I was a bit nervous. However, I wasn't let down. Great movie - lost one of my faves and my least favorite - WOW wasn't expecting that. Teehhehee.

The more I see X3, the more I love it. Yeah they made a lot of mistakes, but what movie based on a comic/book doesn't? And I was also disapointed by a certain someones lack of a certain effect. Buuuut...the performance of said person and everyone else was superb.
Aaaaaaaand it wasn't as much of the Wolverine show as X1&2 was. So that was good too lol..and this is coming from a Wolvie fan girl.

Da Vinci Code is excellent. I read the book and it's a decent adaptation. It's the rare time that I enjoy a Ron Howard movie It's very good though, Ian McKellen, Audrey Tatou, Jean Reno and Paul Bettany are outstanding. Hell I even found myself liking Hanks.

I'm recently obsessed with Cars. I love this movie... might not be great for many but for a racing fan such as myself, I loved it. The short film with Mater, Ghost Lights, nearly made me pee.
In terms of adult movies, X3 and the Inside Man were both awesome in their own rights.
Waiting for my Da Vinci Code now.... *taps foot*

King Kong - Good, but like sandserene said was a bit too long. They didn't need to have as much in there as they did...and they're bringing out a Directors Cut for this..Why?? Naomi Watts was excellent though as was Adrien Brody and Jack Black was brilliant. Ending was nowhere near as sad as the b&w version. My verdict: Enjoyable, but a tad overdone.
Just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Absolutely AWESOME. Loads of twists and turns, spectacular fight scenes, Johnny is hysterical as always. I don't have a bad word to say about this at all. Roll on #3! ;D
